There is definitely some festive cheer to be had if you are lucky enough to live on a road, street, close or avenue that contains a highly desirable festive name.
For, according to the latest research published this week, places that contain a handful of sought-after words could result in the value of your property soaring by more than £250,000.
WHAT'S IN A NAME? Well, if it has 'Christmas' in it, a tidy £41,000 in extra property value. 
I kid you not!

You can forget the location, how many bedrooms it has got, the size of the garden and how much living space you will enjoy. If your pad is found on a road containing one of seven festive street names, researchers are claiming it's value will go through the roof.

But woe betides you if you have certain undesirable names on your curbside. You are likely o be one of the big losers.
