No time like the present
My mission was clear: I had to see the new James Bond film as quickly as possible after waiting more than 18 months for the new 007 blockbuster to come to the big screen.
So, on the night of its release in the UK, I found myself slipping into my seat at the local cinema in nervous anticipation, preparing to watch No Time to Die. I was desperate for it to be good; I wanted this to be 'an all-time high', and I prayed my wish would be granted.
In the early hours of the morning, when all sane souls are tucked up in their beds, I emerged 'shaken and stirred'. What I had just seen left me stunned, breathless and wanting to go back in just to get confirmation that my eyes had not deceived me.
For me (and the majority of critics), it seems this movie is Bond at its very best. In every respect, it was terrific viewing.
My initial reaction was it is like every Bond film you have ever seen, and yet it’s like no Bond film you have ever seen.
