There are less than a handful of weeks to go before arguably the holiest day in the Christian calendar and Britain\u2019s supermarkets are at it again \u2013 by seemingly undermining the Easter tradition.
\nThis time round, it would appear the likes of Tesco, Waitrose, ASDA and Morrisons are barring \u2018real\u2019 Easter Eggs from their shelves in a move the popular product\u2019s supplier believes is a cause for concern.<\/p>\n

\u2018We have supplied supermarkets since 2010,\u2019 David Marshall, from the Meaningful Chocolate Company, told Sorted. \u2018Supermarkets have been told to cut brands and this has included The Real Easter Egg.<\/p>\n

\u2018So the 80,000 people who usually buy a Real Easter Egg from Tesco, Waitrose, ASDA or Morrisons can now only do so if they choose to go online.\u2019<\/p>\n

All Real Easter Eggs, sales of which support the Fairtrade scheme and have so far led to more than \u00a3300,000 being donated to charitable causes, come with an Easter story in the box. These range from simple guides to a 24-page activity book versio...<\/p>\n <\/div>\n
