{"id":8751,"date":"2021-06-07T06:34:01","date_gmt":"2021-06-07T06:34:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/runyourownwebsite.uk\/sorted\/?p=8751"},"modified":"2021-07-06T22:18:18","modified_gmt":"2021-07-06T22:18:18","slug":"no1-film-hero-revealed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/runyourownwebsite.uk\/sorted\/no1-film-hero-revealed\/","title":{"rendered":"No1 film hero revealed"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Suave and sophisticated, James Bond has been named as Britain\u2019s favourite big screen movie hero \u2013 while Hannibal Lecter was voted the nation\u2019s No1 villain.<\/h2>\n<p>A study carried out by Showcase Cinemas has seen 007 take the top spot with almost a quarter (24 per cent) of all cinema-goers choosing him as their favourite hero.<\/p>\n<p>Unsurprisingly, the secret agent was also a huge hit with the ladies with one in five women picking him as their number one choice.<\/p>\n<p>Releasing the results, Mark Barlow of Showcase Cinemas, said: \u201cThe big screen has provided us with so many heroes over the years, it is almost impossible to pick a favourite.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHowever, James Bond has been a constant of British cinema for decades, and it seems rather fitting that with the hugely anticipated <em>No Time to Die<\/em> on the horizon, 007 is named as the ultimate big screen hero.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd who can argue with Hannibal Lecter taking top spot as the nation\u2019s favourite villain?
