The book is about a disabled child who fled the Nazi regime on the Kindertransport during the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> world war.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Out of Place\u2019 was written after Lois Keith won the Sue Napolitano Award for Disabled Writers.
