The network was for disabled people interested in writing in all forms (fiction, poetry, non-fiction), and existed in the early 1990s. The magazine was intended to be \u201ca magazine committed to supporting campaigns, keeping people in touch with events, activities etc, and a springboard for ideas and debate.\u201d Funding for the feasibility study came from Joseph Rowntree.
